February 2

I decided to try something new. I’m going to post my “15 minutes to write” bits here in the blog. I’ll archive them under the 15 minutes pages, so you’ll be able to easily find them – and for when I have guests on. Enjoy. 🙂

Tip: Dashes are used to set off material from the rest of the sentence—or for special effect. They are also used to indicate an interruption in dialogue. An ellipsis (…) indicates a trailing off, not an interruption.

Thought: “May your stride be longer on the return from the mailbox than on the way to it.” – J.M. Martin

Teaser: Write about your character’s place of work. What does s/he see in the office? What does his/her desk look like? Is s/he in an office, cubicle or open area? What does s/he do for a living?
