December 5

Tip: Unless you’re under a heavy deadline, when you’re sick, give yourself a break. Writing is hard work and forcing yourself to get the words in when you don’t feel good doesn’t always work. Now, that’s not saying if you’ve got the sniffles or a stubbed toe, you have an excuse not to get the words down. I’m talking really sick. Otherwise, get back to work. 🙂

Thought: “Write. Rewrite. When not writing or rewriting, read. I know of no shortcuts.”
—Larry L. King

Teaser: Teaser: Take any holiday song and expand it into a short story. Most of them are already stories to some extent. Try one that isn’t and make it into one.
